You can see that most of the colors are light, pastel shades. Few fabrics are darker tones or prints. Even so, you can see that everything fits together, the colors complement each other and the result is this very beautiful quilt.
As the colors are classic, it is a model that matches many environments. If you’re thinking of doing it for the little ones’ room, you can take the opportunity to choose children’s themes that complement and are present in the decor. In the pattern of the unforgettable quilt you will find the petal template, in full size. You can pin the template to the fabric if it becomes too difficult to mark. Use a safety pin so you can take it out and use it over and over again.
When marking, always use the reverse side of the fabric. Even using markers with washable ink, we won’t run the risk of staining our new fabric. As for the cutouts, I prefer to do it as if it were an assembly line. I separate all the materials, see the clippings, fabrics and quantities needed. I mark all the cutouts and grab the scissors for the next step. Not sure if the colors will match? Once you have everything ok, assemble and have an idea of the final quilt.

Pin all layers together and basting with a basting thread, using long stitches. You can also use safety pins to join the layers. Machine or hand quilt starting at the center and working towards the corners. Remember that quilting motifs are a matter of personal preference. Have fun choosing yours. After you finish, trim excess of any fabric or batting, squaring the quilt to proceed to bind it.
